Monthly report — _global, 2026-07

One month's fragment, exactly as _global:monthly-report wrote it. The assembled document lives at Country OS — Cross-country.

In one line

Cross-country cms maintenance shipped two rounds of minimal Sentry fixes — both merged — and kept a daily watch on its own pull requests all month.

Shipped

  • Sentry fixes, batch 1 — PR #8898, merged (opened 2 Jul, merged 14 Jul). Two one-line, low-risk fixes to shared code. One (a rescue on a German energy API proxy) was reviewed and approved; the other (a directory API timeout) was reverted during review at the reviewer's request because it would have hidden the real upstream failure, and re-classified for a human to look at.
  • Sentry fixes, batch 2 — PR #10760, merged (opened and merged 15 Jul). Two minimal guards: a null-phone-prefix crash in the callback controller, and an array-input crash in the Italian energy distributor lookup.

In progress / waiting on a human

  • No Country OS pull request was left open at month end — both PRs above merged inside July.
  • A few issues were deliberately referred to a human rather than auto-fixed, because the right fix is a judgment call: an offer-badge component failing to resolve on one site's design-system page, a staging storage bucket that simply does not exist, and a full-page-cache size limit that needs someone to decide what to trim.

Problems

  • No failed runs. The recurring finding — noted again this month — is that most "unresolved" Sentry issues are already fixed on the main branch; Sentry just hasn't caught up. The final triage of the month therefore opened no PR, because nothing left was both new and safely fixable.

Cost

The cost ledger records 0 runs and $0 for this workspace in July. That is a bookkeeping artifact, not an idle month: the workspace was renamed from fr to _global on 11 August, and every July run is still filed under the old fr key in the ledger. The actual work is visible in the 13 journal entries for the month — 10 pull-request review checks and 3 Sentry triage passes.
